Jalapeño Ranch Dressing

This homemade ranch has way more flavor than store-bought and you can control the heat level by adjusting the jalapeños. It's also wicked cheap to make and keeps for a week in the fridge.

Ingredients (~1 1/2 cups)

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp dried dill
  • 3 Tbsp pickled jalapeño slices, drained

Blend Everything Until Smooth

Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until you get a smooth consistency.

The ranch powder will clump at first but keep blending – it’ll smooth out in ~30-45 seconds.

If you want more heat, add another tablespoon of jalapeños and pulse a few more times.

Store in the Fridge

Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.

This keeps for about a week and actually tastes better after sitting overnight – the flavors meld together and the spices hydrate properly.

Give it a quick stir before using since it tends to separate slightly.
