Greek Yogurt Ranch

This is my go-to ranch recipe when I want something healthier but still creamy. The Greek yogurt gives it way more protein than regular ranch and it's thick enough to use as a veggie dip or thin it out for salads.

Ingredients (~6 servings)

  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp dried chives
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 2-3 pinches black pepper

Mix the Greek Yogurt and Seasonings

Add the Greek yogurt to a medium bowl.

Add all the dried seasonings – the parsley, salt, minced onion, chives, garlic, dill, and black pepper.

Stir everything together until well combined. The ranch powder will clump at first but keep stirring and it’ll smooth out.

Let It Chill to Develop Flavor

Transfer to an airtight container or just cover the bowl.

Let it chill in the fridge for ~30 minutes. This gives the dried onion time to soften and all the flavors to meld together.

If you want to use this as a salad dressing instead of a dip, add 2-3 tbsp of buttermilk to thin it out to your preferred consistency.
