Cheesy Taco Pasta Recipe

Stuff You Need

  • ½ pound large shells pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (or 1 packet)
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Cook the shell pasta according to the package instructions.

Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned on all sides.

Drain any excess fat from the pan.

Season the Meat

Stir in the taco seasoning and ¾ cup of water.

Simmer until the liquid has reduced and the beef is well coated.

Combine and Finish

Add the cooked pasta, salsa, and shredded cheese to the skillet.

Stir everything together until the cheese is melted and the pasta is fully coated.

Serve hot.
