Stuff You’ll Need
- 16 oz (1 pound) cream cheese, softened
- ⅔ cup cayenne hot sauce (such as Frank’s Original)
- 2½ lb rotisserie chicken, skin and bones removed, shredded into chunks (about 3 cups)
- 1 cup buttermilk ranch dressing
- ¾ cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
Before You Start Cooking
If using a 2-quart baking dish, increase the baking time to 45 minutes.
Adjust Oven Rack to the Middle Position and Pre-heat Oven to 350F
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and hot sauce. Microwave until the cream cheese is very soft, about 2 minutes, whisking halfway through.
Whisk until smooth and no lumps remain. Stir in chicken, dressing, blue cheese, and Worcestershire until well combined (small bits of blue cheese are fine).
Transfer the dip to a shallow 3-quart baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, stir, and sprinkle with cheddar. Return to the oven and bake until the cheddar is melted and the dip is bubbling around the edges, about 10 minutes longer.
Top with scallions and serve with chips, carrots, and celery.
