Ingredients (~4-5 servings)
- ~1 lb green beans, stems removed
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Greek seasoning salt
- 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Freshly grated Parmesan for serving (optional)
Toss the Green Beans with Oil and Seasonings
Preheat your air fryer to 350F.
In a large bowl, add your trimmed green beans and drizzle with the olive oil. Toss to coat everything evenly.
Add the Greek seasoning salt, nutritional yeast, and black pepper. Toss again until the beans are well coated.
The nutritional yeast might look clumpy at first but it’ll distribute better as you toss.
Air Fry Until Edges Turn Golden
Transfer the seasoned beans to your air fryer basket in a single layer. You might need to work in batches depending on your air fryer size.
Cook for ~8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
You’re looking for the edges to just start turning golden and the beans to be tender-crisp when you bite into them.
If they need more time, go another 1-2 minutes but watch them closely – they can go from perfect to overcooked pretty quickly.
Serve immediately with freshly grated Parmesan if you want that extra hit of umami.
