I come from a multicultural family where food was the heart of every gathering. My mum is originally from London, and my dad is from the Deep South.
Most of the recipes I share are rooted in these cultures, passed down through generations, with with my own little twist.

I’m a food-obsessed Southerner with British roots, currently based in Charleston, South Carolina.
My passion lies in sharing vibrant, soulful, and approachable recipes inspired by the flavors I grew up with. You’ll find a little bit of everything on my site, but I focus mostly on Southern and British dishes.
A big inspiration for this site is my Dad who was raised by his stepfather, who came to the U.S. from Cuba in the 1960s and brought with him bold flavors and rich traditions.
He was the cook of the family, and we all called him “Papa Joe.” While I’m not Cuban, many of the dishes I grew up eating came from his kitchen, and sharing them here is my way of keeping his memory alive.
