2½poundschicken wingscut at joints, wingtips removed
¾teaspoonfine salt
½teaspoonground black pepper
2tablespoonsunsalted buttermelted
1½tablespoonswhite miso paste
1¼tablespoonshoney
1tablespoonrice vinegar
1garlic clovefinely minced
2scallionsthinly sliced
1½teaspoonstoasted sesame seeds
Instructions
Pat the wings dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Arrange them in an even layer in the air-fryer basket (some overlap is fine).
Place the basket in the air fryer, set the temperature to 400°F, and cook until the wings are golden brown and crisp, 18 to 24 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, miso, honey, vinegar, and garlic until smooth. Add the cooked wings and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
