Homemade Ranch Dip

This is way better than the bottled stuff and uses ingredients you probably already have. The ranch powder clumps at first but smooths out once you fold it in.

Ingredients

Ingredients (~2 cups)

  • 3/4 cup real mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup thick sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 3/4 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine mayonnaise and sour cream in a medium bowl until smooth.
  • Add dried minced onion, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Fold until seasonings are evenly distributed and no clumps remain.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and onion to hydrate.
  • Taste and adjust salt or garlic powder if needed before serving.

Notes

Dressing keeps refrigerated for up to one week and improves in flavor after the first day.
