Ingredients

  • 3 cups 15 ounces / 425 grams all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoons table salt
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet.
  • Whisk dry ingredients. Warm cream and stir into flour mixture to form dough.
  • Scoop ⅓-cup portions onto sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes, rotating halfway.
  • Optional: Brush with melted butter. Serve warm or store for up to 24 hours.
