Chocolate Chip Muffins

These chocolate chip muffins are soft and tender, with a slightly tangy base from yogurt and plenty of sweet, melty chocolate chips. The buttery crumb and golden tops make them a classic, comforting treat.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil spray
  • 3 cups all‑purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1  Tbsp baking powder
  • ½  tsp baking soda
  • ½  tsp table salt
  • 1½  cups plain yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8  Tbsp unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat to 375°F; spray muffin tin.
  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt.
  • Whisk yogurt, eggs, butter, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Stir wet into dry until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop ⅓ cup batter into muffin cups; bake 20–25 min.
  • Cool in tin 15 min; transfer to rack and cool 10 min.
